Steiner Binoculars "take a licking, keep on ticking"

MOORESTOWN, N.J - One of the highlights at the Primedia Round-table press demonstration in September was this unique test of Steiner binoculars body strength and durability. Please don't try this with ordinary binoculars!  

Here you see Steiner's 10x50 Military/Marine under the tire of a 3,500 lb. car.    Steiner's unique one-piece body construction is made with Makrolon polycarbonate material giving the binoculars incredible strength and impact resistance. This binocular was driven over and then used at the range that afternoon, with a little dirt and some tire tracks.
