Developed with input from Steiner Optics’ championship birding team and experts at the American Birding Association, the 10x32 Merlin features high-end optics that deliver crystal-clear images with exceptional brightness.

Similar to the bird of prey after which it’s named, the 10x32 Merlin is small with a fast close-focus, center-focus system that enables the user to zero in on subjects quickly and easily, without fear of detection. The accurate and smooth focus wheel can be manipulated effortlessly and efficiently, enabling users to view the entire focus range with less than two full turns of the wheel. The Merlin’s focus will allow razor-sharp fine tuning of the image and, because of the focus system’s gearing, will hold the image sharp and steady as long as desired.

Probably the most noticeable feature on Steiner’s Merlin is the abundant user comfort; with a well- balanced body and smooth gripping surface, the Merlin fits and feels very good in the observer’s hand. Encased in a dark, earth-toned, water-resistant rubber, the 10x32 Merlin is rugged enough to deliver peak performance in any conditions.

The earth-toned exterior enables the binocular to blend into the environment, undetected by the surrounding wildlife. With light-blocking, wrap-around eyecups that can be pushed back, the 10x32 Merlin has 16 mm of eye relief and allows for easy viewing with or without eyeglasses.

At 20 ounces, the 10x32 Merlin can be comfortably worn around the neck on its own padded strap or easily carried in a pack. Its lightweight design and contoured shape allows users to glass for hours with maximum comfort and no arm fatigue. For added protection, the 10x32 Merlin includes a sleek, thermo-molded, weather-resistant and shock-absorbing PVC case and strap.

Equipped with fully multi-coated optics, with numerous applications of anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass optical surfaces, the 10x32 Merlin delivers crystal-clear views with exceptionally rendered natural colors. The phase-corrected Merlin delivers optimum brightness and maximum contrast, whether glassing in the shade, through dense brush or in other low-light conditions. With close-focus range to within nine feet, the 10x32 Merlin provides detailed views of objects even at close distances.
